Proper application and sanding are crucial for uniform staining. Apply using a squeegee at a 45-degree angle, let dry 45-75 minutes, then sand off surface filler. Deep pores should retain filler. Open-grained woods may require a second application. It dries to sand in under an hour at 75°F, allowing immediate recoating. Maximum 2 coats per day, with complete drying between. Clean equipment with water post-use.
