This product is designed to break down all of the not so harmful dirt, oils, lotions and pollen that wash off of us humans, our pets and surrounding trees into our swimming pools. This has two negative impacts on the pool: First, this clouds the water, affecting clarity, which is a measure of cleanliness. Second, it uses up valuable chlorine that should be used to kill algae, bacteria, viruses, and other potentially harmful contamination that ends up in the pool water. This product was designed to be used as a weekly pool treatment. Adding One pound per 10,000 gallons will improve the chlorine efficiency, water clarity and overall pool water quality and enjoyability. Bathers can return to the pool 15 minutes after treatment.
