The hardware features a triple spring design to provide smooth operation and insure knob return and function for years to come. Knobs are positively secured to the interior of the escutcheon plates by a metal retaining ring. Additionally, each knob has an external set screw that prevents knob “wobble” when tightened. Privacy button on the rosette pushes in to lock and automatically releases when the interior knob is turned. Complete knob set includes knobs and rosettes, latch with square and radius corner fronts and strikes, all mounting hardware, and installation instructions. This set will fit standard doors having 2-1/8 inch cross bore hole and 1 inch latch hole. Tubular latch has a 2-3/8 inch backset (backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the cross-bore hole). 2-3/4 inch backset is also available but listed separately.
