Our mealworms are never treated, and are fed a diet of organic wheat bran and local veggies. We are happy to include an additional 20% extra mealworms to compensate for any unexpected deaths in transit and because we just have so many! If you are ever disappointed with your order, please let us know and we will do our best to make it right! We are a new, locally run, woman owned farm based in North Carolina but will ship to anywhere in the US.
