The Beta 1517C puller operates with the automatic clamping of the jaws thanks to the spring present on the crossbar. This feature facilitates the positioning and locking of the extractor on the part to be pulled out. Once placed, the jaws can be clamped via the ferrule. The particular crossbar has 4 seats that allow the puller to be used both with 2 jaws, for easier and faster work, or with 3 jaws for greater working stability. The safety plug positioned at the head of the screw breaks when the maximum permissible torque is exceeded, thus safeguarding the extractor from overloads.
